Having long, luscious hair can be a blessing, but also a real chore.

Super long hair is great when you want to wear it in plenty of different styles and up-dos. But what about when you've washed your hair and it takes forever to dry?

It can take hours for super long hair to dry properly. This isn't ideal if you have somewhere you need to be and want to have gorgeous looking hair. Or if you have washed your hair just before bed and have to deal with wet pajamas and even wetter pillows.

This is where Turbie Twist comes in. Our specially made absorbent head towels are perfect for drying your hair quickly and gently. They are lightweight, transportable and so easy to use.

In this article, we will teach you how to use a Turbie Twist and also all of the fantastic benefits of using one. It's so simple to do. Soon you'll be Turbie Twisting in no time, to better hair and a better you!

What Are the Benefits of a Turbie Twist?

First of all, Turbie Twists are a fantastic and healthier alternative to blow-drying hair.

Alongside straightening, curling, dying or even perming hair, women put a lot of strain on their hair. This can lead to heat damage, split ends, and thinning of the hair itself.

Why put that extra pressure on your hair by blow-drying on top of that? Using the Turbie Twist is a much safer and environmentally friendly way to dry your hair. It also cuts down on drying time than regular towels and is much smaller and lightweight.

You can easily pop it in a bag and take it with you for a weekend away, or even just the gym. It adds a little luxury to your washing experience, making you feel as if you are at a spa with its plush cotton fabrics.

Also because of its smaller size, it dramatically cuts down on laundry space. Some towels can take up about half the washing drum it seems! With Turbie Twist, you have much more room for all your essential items so you aren't doing loads of unnecessary laundry.

And finally, its elastic loop system means it expertly attaches itself to the base of your neck without feeling like it will fall off or that it is loose. You should forget that it's even there and be able to go about your tasks with no issues whatsoever.

What is great about the Turbie Twist is the ease that it brings to your day, whilst you are trying to dry your super long hair -- which, as we know, can be a bit tricky!

How to Use a Turbie Twist

This is the real magic of the Turbie Twist. It is so easy and simple to use. Its tapered design means that it fits all head sizes and it can hold in place even the longest of hair.

It has a unique pocket that you can use to gather the super-long parts of your hair with ease. There is also an elastic loop, which ensures that all your hair remains in the same position.

All you need to do is follow these three simple to remember steps: Place, Twist, and Loop! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step One: Place

Place your Turbie Twist over your wet hair where the base of your neck meets your hairline. Ensure that the elastic loop is following the outline of your hairline. It might be best to do this whilst you are slightly leaning forward.

Step Two: Twist

Now you have aligned your Turbie Twist with your hairline, simply twist the ends of the Turbie Twist so that the ends make one continuous twist. Make sure this is tight enough but not too restrictive on your head. You should still be in a slightly bent forward position.

Step Three: Loop

Take your twisted ends of the Turbie Twist and loop them at the back of your head, securing them in the elastic loop. This will ensure your Turbie Twist will stay on your head effortlessly, no matter how much you move around.

And there we have it, the three simple steps of how to use a Turbie Twist. Remember all you have to do is: Place, Twist, Loop!

Hi, I’m interested in buying a turbie twist XL. My hair is 32 inches long, blonde, thick, wavy and frizzy. Do you have an XL microfiber in white? I’ve bought a pink towel before with the turbie twist concept and it stained my pillow case pink. As I have bleached blonde hair I’m worried my hair will become stained with coloured towels so I avoid them. I would really like a white XL as I can’t find one anywhere online! What would you recommend? Thank you!
