1. Jogging

Some people opt for running or using an elliptical at the gym. While all forms of cardio help, one of the best is jogging. That is because there are several benefits of jogging, one of which helps stimulate your scalp.

Jogging allows you to pace yourself. That way, you do not have to keep stopping to catch your breath. When we do this, our heart rates slow down, and so does the blood flow you pumped up during your exercise.

Jogging lets us go for longer distances. Doctors recommend at least 30 minutes of jogging to stimulate blood circulation up to your head.

Plus, it not only keeps your hair healthy, but your entire body will thank you as it grows stronger. So, get outside and plan a nice, scenic route through a park.

Or, if you don't want to exercise outdoors, hit the gym and jog on a treadmill. Either way, you are amping up your body for better circulation. 

2. Scalp Massage

A scalp massage is one of the best ways to stimulate your hair follicles. You can do this whenever you have a few extra minutes. Most people like to do scalp massages in the showers.

That way, they also work in their shampoo and conditioner. For a proper head massage, take your fingers and place them on the top sides of your scalp.

Then, with a bit of pressure, behind rubbing your fingers back and forth. You can also do small circles. That will get the blood flowing through your head. 

3. HIIT Exercises

HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training. It mixes cardio with strength training using your body weight.

A short example of a HIIT workout would go something like this: 

  • 20 burpees
  • 20 squats
  • 15 crunches
  • 15 pushups
  • 20 jumping jacks
  • 15 squats

As you can see, it starts by getting your heart rate up, then gives you time to actively rest as you squat or do crunches before beginning the next cardio move. 

4. Strength Training

If you don't like cardio at all, then consider strength training. It will still get your heart rate up and get the blood moving through your body.

The more oxygen you have, the better your blood circulation. To do this exercise, take one finger and place it on your left nostril.

Press down to close it off so you can only breathe through the right side of your nose. Inhale for five seconds, exhale for five seconds.

Then, alternate and repeat this same procedure with the left side of your nose. Do this for five minutes or however long you need. 

6. Wild Relieving Pose

Wild relieving pose helps with bowel movements. When waste builds up, our bodies release those toxins which affect our overall health.

That includes the health of our hair. So, pull out a towel or your yoga mat, and lie flat on your back.

Pull your knees up to your chest, give them a quick hug for stretching purposes. Then, hold them in that position for ten seconds, inhaling and exhaling deeply. Do this about 10 to 20 times. 

7. Standing Fold Pose

Standing fold poses help relieve anxiety. According to research, stress is one of the primary hair loss causes

So, get on your feet and bend over as far as you can. If you are limber enough, touch your nose to your knees while placing your hands around your legs. Inhale, exhale, and hold this pose for about 30 seconds. 

8. Camel Pose

To revitalize your blood cells, hold the camel pose for 15-30 seconds. To start, it on your knees and slowly bend backward.

Then, place your hands on your ankles for support. Do not worry about going all of the way back. As long as you have an arch in your body, your blood cells will stimulate.
